Steve Doerksen: Lead Pastor

Pastor Steve is the founding pastor of MVCC.  He graduated locally from Southwestern College and has his MA degree from Moody Bible Institute.  Steve is a big Cardinals, Suns, and Diamondbacks fan and loves to play golf.  He also enjoys taking time with his wife of 17 years Tammy, and their four young sons.  In addition to his local ministry Steve has served as an adjunct professor, taught at international training events, and currently serves on the board of the SWCBA.

Tammy Doerksen: Women's Ministry

While a full time teacher and kid wrangler (her four boys keep her on her toes), Tammy still finds time to inspire the women of Mountain Vista.  She coordinates bible studies, book clubs, and trips to conferences all with a real and deep rooted concern for women.  On a related note, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who cares more for each individual person at Mountain Vista than Tammy.

Kelly Bayer: Data Support Specialist

Kelly started with some administrative tasks and has, over time, become indispensable.  She now keeps our databases and books in order, along with print and other administrative responsibilities.  Kelly and her husband Jason have one son, Tavin, who's way too cute.
